Where are you located?
TCA is a ministry of Faith Assembly of God-Texarkana, AR and is located on their campus at 2001 Arkansas Blvd.

What grades levels do you serve at TCA?
For the upcoming school year, we will serve students in Kindergarten (age 5) through 12th grade. Although we are a K-12 school, we do not enroll new students after completion of the 8th grade.
What are your hours of operation?
Our regular school hours are from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. Students who have completed all their goals for the week and are in academic and behavioral good standing, will not be required to attend school on Friday.

Do your students wear uniforms?
Yes, our students wear uniforms. Order forms for approved shirts are distributed to families as they enroll their children. Girls will wear knee length skirts of an approved color, and boys will wear pants of an approved color.
What academic standards do you teach?
At TCA, we use the Arkansas State Standards as a resource when planning at each grade level. Since we are not funded by the state, we can teach those standards in harmony with God’s Word and with the use of curriculum written by Christian publishers. This allows us to offer a rigorous education to our students while teaching content from a Biblical Worldview.

Do your students take a standardized test each year?
Yes, our first through 9th grade students take the IOWA Assessments, and our students take the ACT beginning in 10th grade.

Can high school students take dual credit college courses?
Yes, through our partnership with UAHT, eligible high school students can enroll in college coursework that will also satisfy high school graduation requirements.
What resources do you use?
We primarily use Accelerated Christian Education at each grade level. We modify and adjust the curriculum to best fit the unique needs of our learners. We also incorporate other resources as needed such as BJU press, Abeka, and teacher created lessons. Click the link below to watch a short video about ACE.

Are your teachers certified?
It is our desire to employ certified teachers at each level beginning in Kindergarten. If we are unable to secure a certified teacher, we may employ a teacher who has a bachelor’s degree or one who has an amount of classroom experience equal to a bachelor's degree along with specialized training. As equally important to us, is our teachers being born-again followers of Christ who love children and are called to the ministry of Christian Education.
What enrichment or extracurricular activities will you offer?
We offer music, PE, Art, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) enrichment classes and field trips to our students. High school students will have opportunities to lead in chapel and/or serve on the chapel worship team. Your child will also have opportunities to serve one another and their local community through service projects and outreach ministries. As the school grows, we hope to add additional activities, such as clubs, mission trips, and sports as our students show interest.
